Best: Running into the exact same street orchestra buskers we’d seen in the Stockholm metro. Not sure if it’s a small world or if Scandinavia is all one giant modern cosmopolitan city.
Worst: Helsinki’s going to have to up its cinnamon roll game if it’s going to want to compete with the likes of Reykjavik.
Best: Free 2 minute noodles from the old Korean ladies in my shared apartment has restored my faith in humanity.
Worst: The Tallinn-Helsinki ferry boarding process involves queuing with an e-ticket to get a physical ticket to sit down for a mandated 45 minutes to go upstairs to sit for 35 minutes to get on the ferry.
Best: Stepping inside Stalin’s birthday cake. For real.
Other best thing: Picture a motorbike with a sidecar. Now picture a fully grown german shepherd riding in the sidecar. Well that.
Best: Seeing graffiti from 1667 in a cave in Sigulda national park.
Worst: I find the fact that tagging has existed for at least 350 years disheartening.
Best: So I finally got around to this again.
